Sea kayaking holidays in Wales

The Pembrokeshire Sea Kayak Odyssey is our  mid week version of the At Sea with the Seals sea kayaking weekend, with the opportunity to extend the event and make it into a sea kayaking holiday.  This event is brim full of opportunities to explore the inspirational Pembrokeshire coastline, replete with sandy deserted bays, towering rock arches and sea cliffs, echoing sea caves, and of course plenty of opportunities to spot a diverse array of wildlife including Atlantic grey seals and a plethora of sea birds.

This sea kayaking holiday will give you the chance to take up to four full day journeys along the coast, and weather permitting (it usually does!) your event will include a two day expedition, ending expedition day one at a secluded beach where you’ll pull up your kayak and spend the night under canvas,  stargazing beneath the night sky. This event is suitable for beginner sea kayakers and those with a little experience, our friendly and qualified guides will ensure you get the most out of this awesome opportunity to experience this National Park coastline at close hand.

Dates for 2012 | choose 2 days and 2 nights  (£285), 3 days and 3 nights (£415) or 4 days and 4 nights (£545) starting on these dates: May 28,  June 25, August 6, August 20, and September 10

How much does it cost, and what’s included?

The Sea Kayak Odyssey costs between £285 and  £545 and includes:

• 5 star ecolodge accommodation (one of these nights might be a camping night, weather depending),
• yummy home cooked meals (with picnic lunched on your kayaking days),
• all specialist sea kayak equipment,
• friendly and qualified instructors,
• PSV qualified drivers and transport for all activities,
• train station transfers for certain trains.

You are welcome to bring your own camping kit, or Preseli Venture have some camping equipment available for hire.

How experienced do I need to be to come along?

The Sea Kayak Odyssey sea kayaking holiday will suit beginner kayakers and those that have had a little bit of experience – this doesn’t need to have been in a sea kayak.   This event comprises multiple days kayaking, so you will need a reasonable level of fitness.
