What happens on a Stag or Hen adventure weekend at Preseli Venture?

Sample programme  for groups of up to 14. For larger groups please contact us regarding activity options and event logistics.

Friday night: Arrival at Preseli Venture in time to catch a beautiful sunset on the lodge patio, drink in hand! Follow this with home cooked and wholesome dinner at Preseli Venture Lodge, and settle into an evening of relaxation. The bar will be open ’til late!

Saturday: Choose 2 activities from:

Coasteering - A real wake-up call – the best natural hangover cure known to humankind.  Climb, swim and jump into a whole new world with more thrills than white water rafting or canyoning. Sea caves, tunnels and swirling ocean swells combine to produce a truly wild environment. Watch out – it’s addictive!

Sea kayaking – Rocks, caves, birds, waves, surf, beaches, harbours and much more make this a real sea kayakers paradise. Surf between rocks, paddle below towering cliffs and say ‘hi’ to the seals.

Surfing – The art and science of riding ocean swells on the trembling surf of the Atlantic Ocean. With a little help from our experiences instructors you’ll be up on your board in no time.

Saturday night: Delicious dinner here, and then you can round off your evening meal with drinks at the Preseli Venture bar; with pool table and awesome music system, or a visit to our friendly local village pub. Or maybe you’d like a moonlit walk through the woods and a frolic on our quiet secluded beach, or beers around a blazing bonfire in our sheltered garden. Whatever you choose, after a hard day out enjoying yourself with mother nature, your body will have no option other than the “sleep of the deep”.

Sunday: One more activity… we recommend:

Hiking on the famous Pembrokeshire Coast path. Unwind amongst dramatic scenery, walk cliff top trails, and chill out amongst the wild flowers – the perfect end to a weekend of endorphin blasting adventure.  Alternatively you could try an exhilarating jet boat ride round Ramsey – a local offshore island…or you might just want to take it easy at the lodge this morning!

Whatever you decide to do, you’ll come back to the Lodge for lunch, a quick look at the papers, showers and pack-up. Depart Sunday afternoon.

Where will I stay?

Your home for the weekend will be the comfy Preseli Venture eco lodge, tucked away in a valley, boasting a well stocked private licensed bar, wood burning stoves, bonfire site, and just a 10 minute walk away from our local beach – perfect for moonlit frolics!

Our lodge accommodates 40 people every weekend, so unless you’re in a position to fill the lodge with your party, please be sure that you and your friends are happy to share the facilities with our other guests.

Do you offer group rates?

How much will a stag or hen adventure weekend cost?

Bank Holiday weekends: on any Bank Holiday weekend, or if you’d like to make any weekend a long weekend, add £55 for 1 extra night of accommodation with all meals.

Includes:

• 2 nights comfy 5 star eco lodge accommodation,
• yummy home cooked food Friday dinner to Sunday lunch,
• dedicated event manager for the duration of your event,
• 2 half day adventure sessions and a half day hike,
• all specialist equipment (including winter wetsuits ALL year round, and wetsuit socks to keep you toasty warm!),
• friendly and qualified instructors,
• PSV qualified drivers and transport for all activities,
• train station transfers for certain trains.

For a little extra cost you can also include a trip in a high-performance RIB boat through tidal rapids and around offshore islands, or a stunning horseride on a deserted beach.

We can also organise variations on this theme to suit your own individual needs, interest and pockets. Dedicated adrenalin junkies may choose to ‘up the pace’ by opting into an additional adventure activity instead of the hike for an extra £49.
