My parter and I had a lovely short break here, everything was great! It was a treat to use the newly renovated kitchen which was also very well stocked. We loved getting cosy and relaxing by the fireplace in the evenings, perfect for warming up after a cold dip on the sea at the nearby beach! The local pub up the road for some easy and tasty nearby pub food was a bonus too. Highly recommend staying here, thanks for your local advice as well!

I was on a staycation with some colleagues from work in Pembrokeshire and soon as we Picked Sophie’s place we already knew we were going to have a great time. We’re definitely coming here again soon. We had the best time here. Superb experience.

“We’ve had a wonderful few days at the lovely eco barn. 8 adults holidaying together for 4 nights . The barn was the perfect size with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms plus plenty of space to lounge and eat . Kitchen very well stocked and the 2 ovens and large fridge made catering for the group very easy. We had a Tesco delivery on the first evening which was very straightforward. Lots of walks straight from the barn and easy 20min walk to pub in Mathry. We also booked the beach sauna at Nolton Haven, a great find .
Would recommend this house for a relaxing break .”

We had a super time away in this ideal space for the two of us and the dog. Sophie was incredibly responsive and the listing had everything we needed. The cottage is a short walk from the beach and wider coastal path which we made good use of, and further walks are only a quick drive away, along with Fishguard and St David’s.

It’s spacious yet cosy and welcoming. Kitchen has everything you need to feel completely at home. Bathrooms and facilities great. The living space upstairs is a delight, comfy yet funky, stunning views all round. Great hosts. Walks were great, and we all really enjoyed our stay – 5 adults and a baby. I highly recommend the Eco barn if you want real comfort, a sense of isolation and peace and beautiful nature surroundings. We will go again!

Our second stay here, but over Christmas. Warm, cosy, peaceful, beautiful walks on our doorstep and fabulous places to explore nearby by car. Best place to hide away for Christmas which was just what we needed. Cottage has everything you could need.

We’re a family of four and tried paddle boarding for the first time — all complete beginners and we absolutely loved it! Libby was a brilliant instructor, really friendly and patient, and made it so easy for us to pick up the basics quickly and gave us lots of facts on our trip. We were even lucky enough to see the seals! We were all standing and paddling confidently in no time! It was such a fun experience, and Libby even took some great photos for us to look back on. Would definitely do it again — an absolute must if you’re visiting Fishguard! The Miles family ⭐️

Our Stand Up Paddleboarding was brilliant. Great instructor and wonderful location. We were all stretched in a good way: not too challenging but we were definitely pushed beyond our previously very limited abilities.

We have just returned from a wonderful week in the Eco Barn. The views were fantastic and great access to local beaches. The house itself has everything you need and was very cosy and comfortable. Sophie very kindly put stair gates up for our toddler which was brilliant! Thanks again for a great stay, we will definitely be back.

Excellent accomodation, well designed and comfortable, great location, and lovely people. Highly recommend staying here only wish we had more time at Preseli! We loved the local beach and walked there from Loom cottage.

Wish we could have stayed for longer ! My grown up kids and I stayed at the Eco Barn for 2 nights to celebrate my birthday in September . It is very spacious with a great kitchen that was extremely well equipped! The upstairs living area has wonderful views and really thoughtfully decorated giving it a unique charm. The area is just stunning with so many beaches nearby . Abermawr only a mile away and an easy walk . Fish and chips in Porthgain a must too if you are visiting. I highly recommend the Eco Barn and would love to return and stay for longer next time .

Martin was chilled, calm and friendly whilst also being knowledgeable and was particularly good with my neurodivergent husband. Initially I felt worried because my husband also is type 1 diabetic but Martin was really good. Later I even got a cliff jump in! It was exciting and beautiful! Martin even put over hours in for us. Brilliant. Thank you I really appreciate it!!

Fantastic afternoon out coasteering with Martin, 2 families with teenagers and we all had a great time on the coast near Solva. Pushed ourselves and jumped off some pretty high rocks! As well as lots of scrambling and climbing, it was perfect activity for us all. Martin was really patient and made it fun and safe. Would totally recommend the coasteering with Preseli.

Stunning views, interesting and eclectic internal furnishing, great eco credentials, a perfect swimming beach. We had such a good few days! Simply wonderful time. Everything was perfect. Such a glorious position.

The house is large, has a great view over hills and the sea. The windows in the dining and living room that can be fully opened bring nature inside. The sea breeze is wonderful. The appliances are all very good, which immediately gives the stay a luxurious feeling. In the entrance hall, there is space to dry things with a heater and dehumidifier, very convenient. We came without a car, a twenty-minute walk to the bus and all activities were accessible. Sometimes we just stayed nearby, a short walk to the beautiful beach or a visit to the wool mill with delicious lunch dishes and pastries. Moreover, Sophie was very helpful and always responded very quickly. We could arrive and leave perfectly without contact but she was there if needed. We definitely recommend Morgan’s taxi, friendly and punctual. We don’t hesitate to go back!

We had the most wonderful time. Nestled on a peaceful farm and just a short drive from the beach, it offered the perfect balance of rural tranquility and coastal beauty. The cottage itself was beautiful and cozy. We loved waking up to the sounds of nature—and even spotting a few farm animals nearby! The host was welcoming and helpful, offering great local recommendations while giving us plenty of space to relax and enjoy our time. Whether you’re looking to explore the coast, hike in the countryside, or simply unwind, this place ticks every box.

Wow – what a fabulous place! We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at this stunning eco barn. Everything was thought of, really comfortable accommodation and very friendly host. The stunning view from the balcony has to be seen to be believed. Very convenient for all the beautiful beaches of Pembrokeshire.

We had a wonderful day with Martin on a full day canoe trip on the river Teifi. Our original kayaking trip was cancelled but Martin rearranged for us to join the canoeing – great customer care on every level. We were rained on in the morning, but the sun came out later and the river was gorgeous in both, with even a brief otter splash and a distant kingfisher zoom past. Martin was a great instructor and guide. Lovely mix of information, enthusiasm and calm, allowing silence in all the right moments, drifting along the mirror still river. Just lovely. Highly recommend this trip.

We had such a fantastic sea kayaking trip! Martin was very kind and friendly and knowledgeable about the best places to go and all the wildlife we were seeing. We all felt well equipped and safe whilst also having lots of fun and being adventurous! And such a beautiful location exploring the Pembrokeshire coast line.

The Eco Barn is an absolute hidden gem! We stayed here for our annual boys’ trip, and it exceeded every expectation. We were blown away by the breathtaking sea views and the peaceful, idyllic setting — it truly feels like a private slice of paradise. The interior design is hands-down the best I’ve ever experienced in a rental. Every detail feels thoughtfully curated, We made amazing memories here and couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind and reconnect.

The Eco Barn was very comfortable, very well appointed. The BEST information pack we have ever come across and an extremely useful interactive map on the wall which made it easy to visualise what their was to do and where things were located making it easier to string activities together and explain to the children. Plenty of great activities bookable via Preseli Venture’s website. Awesome views over the fields and hills down to the sea from the living room and balcony, and some great walking options from the front door. Sophie was very pleasant, honest, and helpful. And to cap it all, the sun shone all week.

We were a party of 7 adults at the Eco Barn meeting up for the weekend to celebrate a birthday with a big home-cooked dinner – the double oven made cooking for a large party an easy task. The upstairs lounge diner with its wonderful views was a great place to socialise. And given it was a cold weekend the property was really cosy and warm. I wish we had booked a week! Cannot recommend this property highly enough.

Myself, my wife and our 3 sons had an amazing coasteering adventure, guided by Martin. Martin was extremely friendly and knowledgable. He was great with both the adults and the kids. Martin quickly understood our levels of comfort and, under his guidance, we truly experienced the power of the waves and how they are not only enjoyable but can help you navigate the coast. We all did some brilliant jumps at the end which were high enough (but safe) to make a thrilling end to the adventure.

Wow! We’ve had a fantastic time coasteering today with the amazing Rachel! She was super knowledgeable and friendly and was very, very encouraging to a mum and daughter who were a little bit nervous. Highly recommended and would love to book again when we’re in the area!
