Experience Levels +

Pembrokeshire offers climbing experiences suited to complete beginners as well as those with more experience looking for an extra challenge.

As these sessions take place on sea cliffs, you’ll be lowered down the rock face by an instructor (abseiling) before climbing back up to the top. Because of this, both Discovery and Explorer sessions require a basic level of confidence and a reasonable comfort with heights, rather than any prior climbing experience.

Both session types follow the same format and include the same challenges, so the activity itself is no different. The main distinction is who you’ll be sharing the experience with. Discovery sessions are open to mixed-age groups (8+), bringing together families, children, teenagers, and adults. Explorer sessions, by contrast, are designed for those aged 16 and over, offering an environment where older teens and adults can take part alongside others in a similar age group.
