Timings +

Morning session: 09:00 – 12:30

Afternoon session: 13:30 – 17:00

Sessions are 3.5 hours long including kitting up and travelling. You can expect to spend around 2.5 hours on the cliff tops and you should fit in at least three climbs/abseils.

Please arrive 10 minutes before your activity start time.

Experience Level +

This trip is aimed at all ages and abilities: beginner through to intermediate.

There are suitable climbs for first-time climbers as well as those who know the ropes and want more of a challenge.

Because this is a seacliff location, you can expect to be lowered down the face by the instructor (abseil) and cimb back up to the top – for this reason, the trip requires a degree of base-line confidence and being comfortable with heights, rather than any necessary experience.

Age Restrictions +

This trip is suitable for children of 8 years and above.

Children who are 13 and under will need to be accompanied by an adult.

What’s included? +

All specialist kit & equipment is included.

You’ll need to bring:

  • Suitable trainers to walk on the coast path to the climbing location.
  • Active clothing which you can comfortably stretch and move in.

Where? +

Climbing sessions generally take place on the slabs at Porthclais.

You’ll meet at the climbing company’s base in St Davids (precise location will be shared in your confirmation of booking email). Here, you’ll get fitted for kit and driven to the climbing location in the company minibus. You’ll get properly kitted up in harnesses etc on location.
