Coastal Explorer Full-Day Adventure in Pembrokeshire

Coastal Explorer days offer an unforgettable blend of coasteering, kayaking, coastal foraging, and sea fishing. This unique adventure is an extraordinary way to discover the wild beauty of the Pembrokeshire coast. Learn about edible seaweeds, try your hand at foraging, and perhaps even cook your catch as part of a picnic lunch on a secluded beach. Perfect for families, couples, groups, and adventurous adults, this is the ultimate off-the-beaten-track experience.
Your adventure is split across two half-day sessions. One session is spent exploring the coastline by sit-on-top kayak, weaving through magical rock gardens, glittering sea caves, majestic natural arches, and hidden coves. The other session takes you coasteering along the rugged shoreline, combining sea swimming, scrambling, and traversing through the intertidal zone, with optional jumps into crystal-clear plunge pools along the way.

Experience Level +
Beginner. No swimming ability is required, you just need to be happy to be in deep water with a flotation device.
Age Restrictions +
Our age limits are for guidance purposes and can be flexible. If you wish to bring younger participants please contact us before making a booking.
All under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

All specialist kit & equipment is included.
We’ll also send you a full list of basic items to bring such as your bathers, a pair of old trainers, a towel, a water bottle etc.

The meeting point is in Llanreithan, near Mathry, with full directions provided when you book.
After meeting your instructors and getting kitted up, you’ll follow in your own vehicle to the day’s activity location. Your guide will carefully choose the venue based on the latest tide, swell, and weather conditions, selecting from some of Pembrokeshire’s most spectacular coastal locations to give you the best experience possible.
