The Eco Barn

A truly wonderful house – stunning views, interesting and eclectic internal furnishing, great eco credentials, a perfect swimming beach. We had such a good few days!

The house is large, has a great view over hills and the sea. The windows in the dining and living room that can be fully opened bring nature inside. The sea breeze is wonderful. The appliances are all very good, which immediately gives the stay a luxurious feeling. In the entrance hall, there is space to dry things with a heater and dehumidifier, very convenient. We came without a car, a twenty-minute walk to the bus and all activities were accessible. Sometimes we just stayed nearby, a short walk to the beautiful beach or a visit to the wool mill with delicious lunch dishes and pastries. Moreover, Sophie was very helpful and always responded very quickly. We could arrive and leave perfectly without contact but she was there if needed.

The upstairs living room has gorgeous views and was cosy during a storm and airy and bright when the sun was out. The balcony was a real bonus – especially for the dog! The kitchen was well equipped and the information packs were particularly comprehensive- especially the food recommendations. There are plenty of nearby attractions and the barn is a lovely place to just relax and enjoy the views.

We loved the property. It is beautifully appointed and very stylish. The canoe light on ceiling was a source of joy. The area is wonderful, and the local beaches are brilliant. There are lots of activities on offer within 30 minutes or so. We definitely want to return. Our daughter was the only person to offer a point for improvement. She would have liked a small second towel to be provided to dry her hair after the shower rather than just one large towel each. Given that she’s 15, and that is the only thing she could come up with, that shows you how great the eco barn is.

Wow – what a fabulous place! We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at this stunning eco barn. Everything was thought of, really comfortable accommodation and very friendly host. The stunning view from the balcony has to be seen to be believed.

The Eco barn was well presented being clean, tidy and having plenty of space inside. The views from upstairs were lovely and there was ample seating. The kitchen was well equipped and it was useful having a washing machine and drier. Sophie was helpful when we asked if stair gates were available and she quickly fitted them. A lovely stay with plenty of things to do within a short drive.

Absolute hidden gem! We stayed here for our annual boys’ trip, and it exceeded every expectation. We were blown away by the breathtaking sea views and the peaceful, idyllic setting — it truly feels like a private slice of paradise. The interior design is hands-down the best I’ve ever experienced in a rental. Every detail feels thoughtfully curated, We made amazing memories here and couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind and reconnect.

Absolutely loved The Eco Barn. Beautiful location and landscape. Enjoyed the walks to Abermawr beach and Melin Tregwynt Mill. swimming at the Blue Lagoon and a visit to St Davids. The night sky was fantastic.

The Eco Barn is terrific. It’s very spacious and well appointed and really gorgeous. The beds are comfortable and the Kitchen is well equipped. It was a treat to be able to find walking paths adjacent to the house. Sophie is an attentive host. We hope to return someday. Extra special in every way

My family and I had a wonderful time at Sophie’s place. The space was cosy and comfortable. The upstairs views were stunning and the location perfect for exploring the Pembrokeshire coast. Sophie’s communication was great and she also very kindly provided a travel cot for my daughter which was super helpful, thank you! Would definitely recommend staying.

Fantastic few days away in Feb’25 during school holidays…a fantastic property very well positioned for the beautifully dynamic and stunning Pembroke coast and countryside. The property is in itself unique, fantastic views, great facilities, comfortable and meets the ‘home away from home’ tick in the box. I’d certainly consider a return visit in the future. Thank you Sophie for the prompt communication and considerate suggestions for activities in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay. The place is very clean and the kitchen was fully equipped, they even had spices which was very useful when cooking. It is in a very peaceful and quiet environment which we were looking for, and the views were beautiful. Sophie’s communication was great.

We had a fantastic stay at Preseli Venture Eco Barn! The location is absolutely breathtaking, with beautiful coastal walks right on the doorstep. Our host made us feel so welcome. The barn itself is stunning, with gorgeous views and thoughtful design touches throughout. We especially appreciated the unique lighting, which created a calming sensory experience that our baby loved! We can’t recommend this place enough and hope to return soon.

We were a party of 7 adults meeting up for the weekend to celebrate a birthday with a big home-cooked dinner – the double oven made cooking for a large party an easy task. The upstairs lounge diner with its wonderful views was a great place to socialise. And given it was a cold weekend the property was really cosy and warm. I wish we had booked a week! Cannot recommend this property highly enough.

The Eco barn has been refurbished beautifully and it is in a locked quiet setting. We would definitely come again.

We all had a really lovely 3 night stay at the barn and enjoyed every minute, as did our dog too. It was extremely clean with comfortable beds and a great shower. It was also cosy, had everything we needed, was exactly as shown in the pictures with beautiful views from the windows/sliding doors and balcony upstairs. Sophie was helpful and responsive to messages that I sent too, which was really appreciated. We enjoyed the wood burner 2 evenings of our stay, loved the bats that swooped around the balcony at dusk. The barn felt very private. We loved our stay and would definitely return.

Excellent space with amazing views! Location was perfect. We enjoyed a circular walk down to the nearby secluded beach. Kitchen and lounge was perfect for entertaining the four of us! Would highly recommend.

Great base to explore the Pembrokeshire Coast. Especially liked the upstairs area with views over the stunning countryside and comfy beds.

We could not ask for more, very peaceful place, we been there 3 nights, 6 adults 2 kids so lots of space for 8 people, lots of beautiful places around for a nice walk through those beautiful woods then straight to the beach!! I highly recommend this place which has everything you need! Clean and modern place! Very quiet and peaceful. I will definitely come back in the future. Thank you Sophie.
