What a lovely, quirky place to spend a peaceful few nights. 20 minute walk to the beach where we sat for a couple of hours in the evening sun. The view was stunning from upstairs and the ability to open the doors and side windows to let a breeze through the house was great. If you like it dark to sleep, there was no light pollution at all. Plenty of activities on offer lovely walks.

Staying at Loom Cottage was like living from home to home. The cottage is finished to a high standard with lovely views to the surrounding area. The cottage is in a great location for visiting and exploring places by car. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Loom Cottage and would recommend staying here.

We had the most wonderful time. Nestled on a peaceful farm and just a short drive from the beach, it offered the perfect balance of rural tranquility and coastal beauty. The cottage itself was beautiful and cozy. We loved waking up to the sounds of nature—and even spotting a few farm animals nearby! The host was welcoming and helpful, offering great local recommendations while giving us plenty of space to relax and enjoy our time. Whether you’re looking to explore the coast, hike in the countryside, or simply unwind, this place ticks every box.

Absolute hidden gem! We stayed here for our annual boys’ trip, and it exceeded every expectation. We were blown away by the breathtaking sea views and the peaceful, idyllic setting — it truly feels like a private slice of paradise. The interior design is hands-down the best I’ve ever experienced in a rental. Every detail feels thoughtfully curated, We made amazing memories here and couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind and reconnect.

Absolutely loved The Eco Barn. Beautiful location and landscape. Enjoyed the walks to Abermawr beach and Melin Tregwynt Mill. swimming at the Blue Lagoon and a visit to St Davids. The night sky was fantastic.

Our stay at Loom Cottage was simply amazing. The cottage is really cosy and modern which is exactly what we were looking for. Amazing local walks and seaside towns with great food. A nice quiet beach only 5 minutes down the road. Would definitely stay again in the future.

It was warm and everything was brand spanking new. The shower was incredible, the bed comfortable, and the living room was really nicely laid out. The location is great: you are surrounded by lush hills, and it is a short walk through picture-perfect woods to the beach. From there you access the stunning Pembrokeshire coast. I will be back to do Kayaking or Coasteering for sure. I was very grateful to the hosts, Sophie and Nick, for their help and hospitality. Highly recommended!

Really great place. We enjoyed our time at Loom Cottage. Everything was as described, spotless clean and Sophie was very responsive and helpful. The place is especially great if you enjoy hiking/running on trails. We will definitely stay again if in the area.

The Eco Barn is terrific. It’s very spacious and well appointed and really gorgeous. The beds are comfortable and the Kitchen is well equipped. It was a treat to be able to find walking paths adjacent to the house. Sophie is an attentive host. We hope to return someday. Extra special in every way

My mum and I had a fantastic stay at Loom Cottage. It was lovely listening to the birds and the surrounding area was beautiful. Sophie was a responsive host and check in was easy. The cottage booklet contained a wealth of information including recommendations on local food places, beaches, walks and things to do. Would definitely stay again.

The communication with host Sophie was as good as it gets, and as for the accommodation, superb. Loom Cottage was precisely what we wanted: privacy, extremely clean accommodation, beautiful surroundings with awesome views. Loved every minute of our stay, totally recommend.

Very comfortable, very well appointed. The BEST information pack we have ever come across and an extremely useful interactive map on the wall which made it easy to visualise what their was to do and where things were located making it easier to string activities together and explain to the children. Plenty of great activities bookable via Preseli Venture’s website. Awesome views over the fields and hills down to the sea from the living room and balcony, and some great walking options from the front door. Sophie was very pleasant, honest, and helpful. And to cap it all, the sun shone all week.

My family and I had a wonderful time at Sophie’s place. The space was cosy and comfortable. The upstairs views were stunning and the location perfect for exploring the Pembrokeshire coast. Sophie’s communication was great and she also very kindly provided a travel cot for my daughter which was super helpful, thank you! Would definitely recommend staying.

Fantastic few days away in Feb’25 during school holidays…a fantastic property very well positioned for the beautifully dynamic and stunning Pembroke coast and countryside. The property is in itself unique, fantastic views, great facilities, comfortable and meets the ‘home away from home’ tick in the box. I’d certainly consider a return visit in the future. We had a fantastic stay at Preseli Venture Eco Barn! The location is absolutely breathtaking, with beautiful coastal walks right on the doorstep. Our host made us feel so welcome. The barn itself is stunning, with gorgeous views and thoughtful design touches throughout. We especially appreciated the unique lighting, which created a calming sensory experience that our baby loved! We can’t recommend this place enough and hope to return soon.

We were a party of 7 adults meeting up for the weekend to celebrate a birthday with a big home-cooked dinner – the double oven made cooking for a large party an easy task. The upstairs lounge diner with its wonderful views was a great place to socialise. And given it was a cold weekend the property was really cosy and warm. I wish we had booked a week! Cannot recommend this property highly enough.

We all had a really lovely 3 night stay at the barn and enjoyed every minute, as did our dog too. It was extremely clean with comfortable beds and a great shower. It was also cosy, had everything we needed, was exactly as shown in the pictures with beautiful views from the windows/sliding doors and balcony upstairs. Sophie was helpful and responsive to messages that I sent too, which was really appreciated. We enjoyed the wood burner 2 evenings of our stay, loved the bats that swooped around the balcony at dusk. The barn felt very private. We loved our stay and would definitely return.

We could not ask for more, very peaceful place, we been there 3 nights, 6 adults 2 kids so lots of space for 8 people, lots of beautiful places around for a nice walk through those beautiful woods then straight to the beach!! I highly recommend this place which has everything you need! Clean and modern place! Very quiet and peaceful. I will definitely come back in the future. Thank you Sophie.
