Longer trips to Wales for study abroad students

Who is this trip for?

This trip includes all of the fun and adventures of our weekend trip, but takes place over a 4 to 5 day (or more) mid week stay or long weekend, so is perfect for students who want to take an extended trip on their Spring or Fall mid semester break.

This trip would also suit educational and touring groups visiting the UK – or could be an awesome post exam celebration or pre semester teambuilding event.

We can often offer exclusive use of the eco lodge for mid week trips, so if exclusivity is an important factor for you and your group please let us know and we’ll check availability for your exclusive use of the lodge and all facilities.

Sample Programme

Day 1 Arrive in the evening, in time for a delicious home cooked supper and to settle into the lodge.

Day 2 A Pembrokeshire coasteering adventure in the morning, lunch at the lodge, and then a half day self guided coastal hike on the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast path.

Day 3 Enjoy surfing on one of our beautiful beginner friendly beach breaks, lunch at the lodge, followed by a trip into St Davids (the birthplace of St David, patron Saint of Wales) and its 12th century cathedral and 14th century Bishops Palace.

Day 4 This morning you’ll try your hand at sea kayaking – the Pembrokeshire coastline is an awesome place to learn new skills and enjoy an exploration of our unique coastal environment.  Lunch at the lodge, followed by a trip to ancient historical and iconic sites along the North Pembrokeshire coastline – taking in Garn Fawr iron age fort, Carreg Sampson – a neolithic burial chamber and the Strumble Head lighthouse.

Day 5  Coasteering again, we’ll choose another of our awesome venues along the North Pembrokeshire coastline. Whether the sea is flat calm and reflecting the suns rays like a mirror, or raging and boiling as the waves pound the cliffs base, a superb coasteer can be guaranteed, with the emphasis on cliff jumping, wave dodging and rock traversing shifting according to the conditions; no two coasteers are ever the same. Followed by lunch at the lodge, and then depart.

This is a sample programme, we can be very flexible as to your requirments and interests – just let us know what type of trip you’d prefer and we’ll customise a programme, just for you.
