If you're looking for a weekend or a mid week break chilling out with friends, surrounded by breathtaking, unspoilt scenery, or an adrenalin fuelled stress blasting blow out, then either way, you've found the right place!

On an Adrenalin Cocktail Adventure Break we'll give you the opportunity to:

• escape from the reality of daily life for fun, exhilaration and the space to adventure and chill-out
• experience unique and exciting adventure activities that help you refresh and invigorate, de-tox and relax
• take time out to enjoy the beautiful unspoilt countryside and coastline of Pembrokeshire in Britain's only coastal National Park.

Your stay at Preseli Venture will be co ordinated by our event manager who will be involved with your initial enquiry, attending to every detail during your stay with us, right through to waving you goodbye.

This two day break is the perfect way to experience a mix of adventure activities on this awe inspiring coastline. You'll have the chance to take part in three half day adventure events, your activities will be led by our fully qualified and friendly instructors who really know their stuff, and you'll stay at the comfortable Preseli Venture Eco Lodge. All your food for the weekend Friday night to Sunday lunch is provided, meals are home cooked and wholesome, and vegetarians are happily catered for.

Thanks to our mild west Wales climate and warming Gulf-Stream we run our adventures all year round, so you are welcome to join us any time from January through to November.

What activities can I do?

Choose two adventure activities from:

COASTEERING The ultimate coastal adventure - climb, swim and jump into a whole new world! Sea caves and swirling ocean swells combine to produce a truly wild environment. Watch out - it's addictive!

SEA KAYAKING Rocks, caves, seals, birds, waves, surf, beaches, harbours and much more make this a real sea kayaker's paradise. The Pembrokeshire coastline is one of the UK's premiere kayaking locations, there's no better way to explore this wonderful National Park coastline than from a kayak.

SURFING The art and science of riding clean ocean swells on idyllic sandy beach breaks. With a little help from our talented instructors you'll be standing up in no time.

And your third activity will be

COASTAL HIKING We've got the world renowned National Park Coastal Path on the very Western tip of Europe right on our doorstep. Unwind amidst the spectacular cliff top scenery and chill out amongst the wild flowers - it's the perfect accompaniment to the adrenalin charged adventure activities.

Dedicated adrenalin junkies may choose to ‘up the pace’ by opting into an additional adventure activity instead of the hike for an extra £49.00, or if you fancy a gallop on the beach on a trusty steed, or a jet boat ride round an offshore island let us know and we’ll put you in touch with the right people!

Includes 2 nights comfy accommodation at the 5 Star Preseli Venture Eco Lodge, home cooked food Friday evening to Sunday afternoon, 3 half day activity sessions, all specialist equipment and qualified instruction, transport for all activities, and train station transfers on certain trains.

Can I stay mid week?

Yes, please do, we’d like that very much! We welcome individuals, couples and groups to come and stay with us mid week, you’re welcome to stay before or after a weekend break, or just come along Monday – Friday or any part of the week, please see the details below.

Can I stay longer?

Yes, that would be great too!  For 2010 we are offering a Pembrokeshire Adventure Staycation – a Monday to Friday adventure holiday for adults.  Please do call or email us for details of this, and any other of our longer breaks. Dates for 2010: 5-9 July and the 9-13 August.

Sample itinerary for longer break:

Arrive in time for a home cooked lunch on Monday, followed by a half day coasteer. On Tuesday you’ll take a half day surf, followed by a half day hike on the Pembrokeshire coast path. On Wednesday you’ll take a full day sea kayak trip along the coast.  On Thursday you’ll take a second coasteer at another awesome location, followed by a half day free time for some Pembrokeshire exploration, or hire a bike locally for the morning to explore the quiet lanes and tracks of the Pencaer peninsula. Depart after breakfast on Friday.

If these dates don’t work for you, if you have a group of 6 or more just let us know that dates that suit you and we can put something together for your group.

We also offer three day weekends over the Bank Holidays priced at £259 per person, and you are very welcome to join us on these.  Or, if you have a small group, you're welcome to come along for as many nights as you please.

Like the two day Adrenalin Cocktail adventure break you arrive on the Friday night but this time stay until Monday breakfast. Your organised activities (three half day adventures) take place all day on Saturday and on Sunday morning, leaving Sunday afternoon and Monday free for you to choose. We can direct you to the best beaches and ice creams, we can help book Rib Boat Rides around Ramsey Island or horse riding across Strumble Head, you could explore nearby St Davids and its' cathedral and 13th century Bishops Palace - or if it's more adventure that you're after let us know and we can take you out for another splash in the ocean! You are welcome to take part in additional adventure activities; an extra half day coasteer, sea kayak, surf or bike costs £49.

Can I stay at the lodge, and do my own thing in the daytime?

If you’re just after somewhere to stay while you follow your own holiday or adventure itinerary, the Preseli Venture Eco Adventure-lodge offers an ideal base for your Pembrokeshire stay, with easy access to the rest of Pembrokeshire, as well as Ceredigion.  For rates please check out the Preseli Venture Eco Lodge page.

Are there any participant restrictions?

On our adventure weekends we welcome adults of 18 years and over, if you have a family group you'd like to bring along we can offer you mid week adventures - check out the FAMILY ADVENTURE section.

The activities are open to everyone, you don’t need to have previous experience and you don’t need to be particularly outdoorsy, just come equipped with a 'go for it' attitude and a sense of fun!  Participants should have a reasonable general level of fitness, this means that in your day to day you're able to run for a bus, or jog up and down a flight of steps.  You'll need to fit into a wetsuit, and for the water based activities you need to be able to swim, doggy paddle is fine! When you get here you'll need to fill in a medical declaration form, and make us aware of any pre existing medical conditions.  If you have any questions at all regarding fitness levels or health please do contact us and we can answer any questions.
