Whether you’re after an adventure weekend or a mid week activity break chilling out with friends, surrounded by breathtaking, unspoilt scenery, or an adrenalin fuelled stress blasting blow out, then either way, you’ve found the right place!

On an Adrenalin Cocktail adventure weekend you’ll have the opportunity to:

• escape from the reality of daily life for fun, exhilaration and the space to adventure and chill-out
• experience unique and exciting adventure activities that help you refresh and invigorate, de-tox and relax
• take time out to enjoy the beautiful unspoilt countryside and coastline of Pembrokeshire in Britain’s only coastal National Park.

Your activity weekend at Preseli Venture will be co ordinated by our event manager who will be involved with your initial enquiry, attending to every detail during your stay with us, right through to waving you goodbye.

This weekend stay is the perfect way to experience a mix of adventure activities on this awe inspiring coastline. You’ll have the chance to take part in three half day adventure events, your activities will be led by our fully qualified and friendly instructors who really know their stuff, and you’ll stay in our comfortable eco lodge accommodation. All your food for the weekend Friday night to Sunday lunch is provided, meals are home cooked and wholesome, and vegetarians are happily catered for.

Thanks to our mild west Wales climate and warming Gulf-Stream we run our adventures all year round, so you are welcome to join us any time from January through to December.

What activities can I do?

Choose two adventure activities from:

Coasteering The ultimate coastal adventure – climb, swim and jump into a whole new world! Sea caves and swirling ocean swells combine to produce a truly wild environment. Watch out – it’s addictive!

Sea Kayaking Rocks, caves, seals, birds, waves, surf, beaches, harbours and much more make this a real sea kayaker’s paradise. The Pembrokeshire coastline is one of the UK’s premiere kayaking locations, there’s no better way to explore this wonderful National Park coastline than from a kayak.

Surfing The art and science of riding clean ocean swells on idyllic sandy beach breaks. With a little help from our talented guides you’ll be standing up in no time.

And your third activity will be

Coastal walking We’ve got the world renowned National Park Coastal Path on the very Western tip of Europe right on our doorstep. Unwind amidst the spectacular cliff top scenery and chill out amongst the wild flowers – it’s the perfect accompaniment to the adrenalin charged adventure activities.

Dedicated adrenalin junkies may choose to ‘up the pace’ by opting into an additional adventure activity instead of the hike for an extra £49.00, or if you fancy a horse ride with inspirational views of the Strumble Head peninsular or a jet boat ride round an offshore island, let us know and we’ll put you in touch with the right people!

How much will an activity weekend cost me?

Adrenalin Cocktail Adventure Weekend

2013 £215 

On any Bank Holiday weekend, or if you’d like to stay for a long weekend, add £55 for 1 extra night of accommodation with all meals.

Includes:

• 2 nights comfy accommodation at the 5 Star Preseli Venture Eco Lodge,
• home cooked food Friday evening to Sunday afternoon,
• 3 half day activity sessions,
• all specialist equipment and qualified instruction,
• transport for all activities,
• train station transfers on certain trains.

Can I stay mid week?

Yes, please do, we’d like that very much! We welcome individuals, couples and groups to come and stay with us mid week, you’re welcome to stay before or after a weekend break, or just come along Monday – Friday or any part of the week.  We can offer mid week Adrenalin Cocktail events, with 5% off the weekend rates for a mid week stay, and we also offer a mid week adventure holiday.

Can I stay longer? Do you offer extended Bank Holiday and long weekend breaks?

Yes, that would be great too! We offer a 3 day long weekend / bank holiday adventure weekend, designed specifically for the long bank holiday weekends that we’ll be blessed with in 2013.  Full details are below:

3 day long weekend breaks

The price for these events will be £319 (with coastal Hike) or £369 (with 2 x coasteering) and will include the following itinerary:

Arrive in time for home cooked evening meal and to settle into the eco lodge.

Day 1: Am: Sea kayaking and Pm: coasteering or coastal Hike

Day 2: Am: Surfing and Pm: either kite-boarding or horse-riding

Day 3: Am: Coasteering (at a second venue like on our Wicked Liquid coasteering courses), lunch and depart.

Kiteboarding is offered by our adventure partners over at the Big Blue Experience.  As you would imagine, kiteboarding is lots of fun but VERY weather dependent!  Because of this we don’t charge you in advance for this activity, and payment can be made to The Big Blue Experience when and if the activity takes place. 

Horse Riding is provided by our friends at either Llanwnda or Havard stables and again is payable on the day. For both these activities you’ll need to provide your own transport, either car or taxi, please do ask us for more info.

We’ll also be offering our adventure holiday in Wales details – a regular  Monday to Friday adventure holiday for adults.

Do you offer group rates?

Can I stay at the lodge, and do my own thing in the daytime?

If you’re just after somewhere to stay while you follow your own holiday or adventure itinerary, the eco lodge offers an ideal base for your Pembrokeshire holiday, with easy access to the rest of Pembrokeshire, as well as Ceredigion.

Are there any participant restrictions?

On our adventure weekends we welcome adults of 18 years and over, if you have a family group you’d like to bring along we can offer you mid week adventures, please see the details of our family adventure holidays in Wales.

The activities are open to everyone, you don’t need to have previous experience and you don’t need to be particularly outdoorsy, just come equipped with a ‘go for it’ attitude and a sense of fun! Participants should have a reasonable general level of fitness, this means that in your day to day you’re able to run for a bus, or jog up and down a flight of steps. You’ll need to fit into a wetsuit, and for the water based activities you need to be able to swim, doggy paddle is fine! When you get here you’ll need to fill in a medical declaration form, and make us aware of any pre existing medical conditions.
