Choose from our mouth watering menu of adventure activities:

• Coasteering: Climb, swim and cliff jump into a whole new world. More thrilling than white water rafting, sea caves and swirling ocean swells combine to produce a truly wild environment, but watch out – it’s addictive!
• Sea Kayaking: We’ll teach you everything you need to know about kayaking to take a trip round the stunning coastline. Kayak surf between rocks, paddle against the swirling ocean swells and say ‘hi’ to the seals.
• Surfing: The art and science of riding ocean swells. With a little luck and some help from our talented instructors you’ll be up and standing in no time at all.
• Hiking: We’ve got the National Park trail on the very Western tip of Europe right on our doorstep. Unwind amongst dramatic scenery, walk the stunning cliff top trails, and chill out amongst the wild flowers, it’s the perfect accompaniment to the adrenalin charged adventures.

The Preseli Venture Lodge

You will stay in our Preseli Venture eco lodge accommodation, set right in the heart of the National Park, close to our local unspoilt beach. The lodge provides for all your creature comforts during your stay; delicious, wholesome, home-cooked food, private bar and music, cosy lounge with wood-burning stoves, awesome music system, pool table, traditional Pembrokeshire courtyard to watch the beautiful Atlantic sunsets, sheltered bonfire area for chilling out under the stars, comfy beds and hot, hot showers! Our local village pub is just a one mile walk away, perched on the hill-top village of Mathry and overlooking the Preseli Hills, source of the ‘bluestones’ of Stonehenge.

How much will a weekend break cost?

There are 2 costs for the weekend; one is your payment to Preseli Venture and the other is for the train or bus ride to travel to Wales.

Adventure Weekend 2012

£199 January-March | £205 April onwards

This is an ALL INCLUSIVE price and there are no hidden extras on this trip. Once you have paid for the trip and bought your ticket for travel you will not need to spend any more money – unless you want to buy some drinks at the bar!

The price for your trip includes:

• 2 nights comfy 5 star eco lodge accommodation
• all meals (yummy home cooked food!) from Friday dinner to Sunday lunch
• 3 half day adventure sessions in the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast National Park
• all specialist equipment including toasty warm winter wetsuits, and socks so you are warm and cosy in the water at all times
• qualified and friendly adventure guides who really know their stuff
• a dedicated event co ordinator – who will look after you through the whole event, from picking you up at the station to waving you goodbye
• transport for the activities
• free train and coach station transfers at certain times
• all teas, coffees and cold drinks at the lodge

We know that travelling on a budget can sometimes be a challenge – that’s why we like to be clear on what you’ll get for your money. A £85 weekend trip might seem like good value until you realise that it doesn’t include food, accommodation or activities – in Paris you could pay up to £10 for a cup of coffee! We are confident that our adventure weekends are excellent value for money, you won’t be able to match like for like with any other trip.

Choose 2 activities from:

Coasteering, Sea Kayaking or Surfing, and the third activity is a beautiful Coastal Hike on the world famous Pembrokeshire Coast Path.

Are there any participant restrictions? How fit do I need to be?

You do need to be able to swim to take part in the water activities but you don’t need to be a great swimmer – doggy paddle is fine!  We do ask for a reasonable level of fitness, this means that you could run for a bus or run up and down the stairs without having issues.  You’ll need to be able to fit into a wetsuit.  If you have any concerns at all regarding your fitness or size please contact us and we’ll chat it through with you.
