Local produce

Pembrokeshire is a natural larder when it comes to the variety, quality and taste of its produce. With its mild climate and fertile soil the county yields a wide range of produce from fresh vegetables and soft fruit to top quality beef and lamb, award winning dairy products and much more. We do try and source locally whenever possible – here are some of our local suppliers who will be helping keep you well fed and watered during your stay at the eco lodge:

  • Eggs are local and free range from Pennsylvania Farm near Haverfordwest
  • Meat is from award winning Gwaun Valley Meats based in Letterston Pembrokeshire
  • Fruit and Vegetables are from Total Produce based in Fishguard who source as local as possible with much of the vegetables in season sourced from Welsh farms.
  • Bread and bakery products are from a Pembrokeshire bakery based in Crymych, J K Lewis
  • Fish is sourced from local licensed fish traders
  • Drinks for the lodge bar are from Pembrokeshire or within Wales whenever possible. Our main supplier for drink is Templeton Beer Wine and Spirit company, based near Narberth in Pembrokeshire. From Templeton we buy Welsh spirits, Brecon Gin and Vodka, as well as other Welsh tipples such as Brains SA Gold, and Tomos Watkins Taffy Apple Cider and Magic Lagyr. We buy locally brewed beer including Gwaun Valley Ale, based in the beautiful Gwaun Valley near Fishguard.
